[ARCHIVED] Community Survey about the BPD

The Brighton Police Department is encouraging community members to share their input during the Town's Police reform planning efforts. As part of this process, Brighton Police Chief David Catholdi and The Center for Public Safety Initiatives, housed in the Criminal Justice Department at Rochester Institute of Technology, collaborated to develop a community survey about the Brighton Police Department. The survey is anonymous and aimed at Brighton community members and anyone else who has interacted with the Brighton Police Department. The brief survey is just the first step to gain the community’s input on potential reform proposals. Additional outreach will be conducted as reform efforts move forward. After the survey concludes, the Center for Public Safety Initiatives will complete the analysis and share the findings with the community. The community plays an integral role in developing this plan, so we hope that you will take the time to share your suggestions and experiences with the Brighton Police Department.
