The Town Clerk’s office offers Notary Public services for residents with acceptable government issue photo ID. We can notarize many types of documents, with the exception of I-9 forms and wills (which in New York State must be notarized by a lawyer).
Notary public services are available from 9:15a - 4:00p. We do not have notaries available during peak tax collection times.
If you have more than THREE (3) signatures to be notarized, you will need to call 585-784-5240 to schedule an appointment.
We are not able to be witnesses for Notary services. If your documents require a witness, those persons must accompany you.
We are not able to produce notarized copies of documents. If you need notarized copies of documents, you must bring any copies with you along with a notary statement.
